Who we are

We don’t sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
We only share data with service providers who help us run the site, including:
- our web hosting provider
- Google (Analytics, via Site Kit) and AdSense, which uses cookies to show ads
- Disqus, if you use our comments
- Wordfence, our security service
- Awin and the affiliate partners whose links you click
- the platform we use to sell our guides, if you buy one
Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where that happens, they protect your data with safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to make the site work, and — only with your consent — analytics, advertising and affiliate cookies. You can change your choice at any time through our cookie banner or your browser settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data
- correct it
- delete it
- restrict or object to how we use it
- transfer it to another organisation
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, for example by unsubscribing. To make a request, email hello@yourprimecar.com. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
Our site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
